Explorers Curriculum

Explorers

The Explorers Curriculum focuses on providing a sensory-rich and play-based learning environment for pupils with more complex learning needs. We emphasise communication skills, sensory exploration, and physical well-being through personalised access to therapies such as speech and language, physiotherapy, and rebound therapy. The curriculum fosters independence, self-help skills, emotional regulation, and social awareness through topic-based learning and play.

Navigators Curriculum

Navigators

Our Navigators Curriculum takes a personalised, practical, and thematic approach to developing communication, life skills, and independence. Learning connects to real-life experiences and focuses on functional skills, communication (verbal and non-verbal), motor development, social behaviour, and community engagement — all taught through hands-on, meaningful activities.

Pioneers Curriculum

Pioneers

The Pioneers Curriculum is a more formal pathway, adapted to meet individual needs and abilities. It focuses on developing thinking, independence, and life-relevant skills. Pupils are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning and explore the world around them. Life skills, social development, and emotional regulation are at the heart of this curriculum.
