On behalf of the children, staff and governors we would like to warmly welcome you to our Applebee Wood School website.

Applebee Wood is a generic learning difficulties school. All of our children have an Education Health and Care Plan, we work closely with numerous professionals to ensure that we provide the appropriate provision for each individual child.

Here at Applebee Wood our dedicated staff team are committed to providing outstanding opportunities for all of our students, to develop their skills and personalities and to enable them to become the best they can be. We do this by providing excellent teaching and support as well as an inspiring and enriched curriculum within a safe, secure and positive environment. This enables our students to overcome a diverse array of learning difficulties and additional challenges and ultimately to grow in confidence.

To ensure the best outcomes for the children, we believe it is crucial to build partnerships between school, our learners and home. We value the incredible contributions made by parents and carers towards their child's education.
